In short: This website does not use cookies, tracking, or analytics tools. Fonts and images are hosted on my own server. Personal data is collected only when you contact me or book an appointment.

This statement is based on the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG). To the extent that the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, it also applies.

2. Visit the website

When you visit this page, the server automatically records access data for technical reasons: IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser and operating system, and the previously visited page. This data is used solely to ensure secure and stable operation. It is not combined with any other data and is deleted after a short period of time.

The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Strasse 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS processes the data on my behalf.

3. No cookies, no tracking

This website does not use cookies and does not use analytics or advertising services. Fonts are not loaded from Google or other providers, but from our own server.

3a. Translation using Weglot

The English version of this website (en.ceo-code.com) is translated and delivered using Weglot, a service provided by Weglot SAS, Paris, France. To do this, each page loads a script from Weglot. In the process, Weglot receives technically necessary data such as your IP address, browser information, and the page you are viewing. When you access the English version, the page runs through Weglot’s servers. Weglot may store the selected language in your browser’s cache so that it is retained for your next visit. Weglot processes the data in accordance with its own privacy policy and may use subcontractors outside of Switzerland and the EU.

4. Contact via email

If you send me an email, I will process your information in order to respond to your inquiry. I will delete it once it is no longer needed for that purpose and there is no legal requirement to retain it.

5. Scheduling Appointments via Calendly

For the virtual espresso, I recommend Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA). You will not leave this website until you click the link. Calendly will then process your name, email address, and preferred appointment time in accordance with its own privacy policy. This may involve the transfer of data to the United States.

6. Links to LinkedIn and Amazon

The links to LinkedIn and Amazon are simply references. No data is transferred to these providers when you visit this page. Their privacy policies apply only when you click on a link.

7. Your Rights

You may at any time request information about the data I have stored about you, request that it be corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Simply send an email to brunello@ceo-code.com.

You can also file a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU, with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

I will update this statement if the website or the legal situation changes. The version currently published here is the valid one.
